    Navigation

    Each of the three main sensor types helps the robot navigate and detect the lawn edge in a different way:

    No Grass
    Grass sensors mounted underneath detect whether the mower is on top of grass. If it senses that there is no grass under one of the sensors, it will navigate away from that area. Ideal for detecting level patios and paths, etc.

    Bump / Obstacle
    Bumper mounted touch sensors trigger when the L60 makes contact with obstacles. This helps it navigate around obstructions in a lawn like trees or planters, as well as detect walls and fences, etc. The barrier can be as low as 9 cm to activate these sensors.

    Dropped Edge
    Four corner mounted drops of sensors detect edges with a change in level of over 5cm. This means the mower can detect and navigate away from borders or any other landscaping with a sunken edge.

    Do I need to collect the grass after my Ambrogio has mown?
    No. Clippings act as a natural fertilizer. Ambrogio mows a few millimeters daily, leaving clippings on the ground.

    Can Ambrogio Robot work in all weather conditions?
    Yes. Designed for -10 to +50°C, Ambrogio works in various weather. Rain sensors allow rain-aware mowing.

    Can Ambrogio Robot recognise benches, deckchairs or other objects on the grass?
    Yes, for objects over 10cm high. Ambrogio gently touches and navigates around obstacles during mowing.

    Are they expensive to run?
    No. Monthly electricity cost: £1-£2 for a medium-sized lawn, significantly less than fuel costs for a petrol mower.

    How should I clean my robot?
    Use a soft dry brush; avoid hose or power washer to prevent permanent damage.

    Can Ambrogio manage multiple separate areas?
    Yes. Ambrogio robots handle up to 8 mowing areas in the garden; check technical data sheets for suitable models.

    Where do I install the Ambrogio charging station?

      Follow My Parcel; you can track your new mower all the way to your door on a live map with a final 15 minute delivery timeslot with the DPD Follow My Parcel service.

      SIGNED FOR
      Due to the value of your Ambrogio robot mower, we want to ensure it arrives to you safely. All deliveries are tracked and require a signature upon delivery. If nobody is available to sign for the delivery, the order may go back to a DPD depot for collection or for you to arrange redelivery with DPD. Additional instructions can be given to DPD via the alerts they send. Please note, while you may request for your order to be left in a safe place, this is done at your own risk, and at the discretion of the courier.

      DISPATCH TIME
      Orders placed before 13:00 on a working day will be processed the same day for next day delivery where available. Orders placed after 13:00 will be dispatched the following working day. There is a chance orders placed shortly after 13:00 may be processed the same day but this cannot be guaranteed.

      DELAYING DISPATCH

However, whilst you are deciding whether to keep your purchases, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods. Therefore, please do not use or damage the items whilst you inspect them. Do not try them in an environment that might make them dirty (e.g. in the garden). If you wish to return an item, please contact us first within 14 days from the delivery of the goods.

      It is your responsibility to fully inspect the item upon delivery before first use, that the item you have purchased is to your satisfaction and therefore fit for purpose. Should you notice a fault or defect with any product or find that there are missing components, please contact us immediately. Any claims for goods damaged on delivery should be made within 7 days and photos of the external and internal packaging will be required. We are unable to provide replacements for goods claimed to be damaged on delivery outside of this period. Failing to contact us at this early stage could affect your return/warranty entitlements.

      Any unwanted item unless faulty, must be returned in a re-saleable condition complete with all original packaging and labels, undamaged and unused. Please do not open any blister-packs unless you intend to keep the item. Should you wish to return a product, it must be in the original undamaged packaging.

      Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the goods, whether whilst in your possession or when returning them, we reserve the right to deduct from the total any amounts due by way of compensation to either repair the goods or to cover any loss.

      Any items that need to be replaced must be returned first before a replacement can be issued.

      If goods are being returned as unwanted / not due to a product defect or fault, the return postage is not covered. If you are unable to post yourself, or prefer us to arrange a courier collection of goods, this can be done for a carriage fee. Please contact us for a quote and to arrange.

    • Once the returned product(s) are received and if appropriate, any packaging, a refund will be credited to the original payment method or card. Please note that it may take up to 21 days for your bank to credit your account. We are not liable, and cannot take responsibility for any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process.

      Delivery Charge Refunds – Original outgoing delivery charges will only be refunded if you cancel and return your order with us within seven working days after the day of receipt of your goods. Otherwise delivery charges will only be refundable in the case of faulty or damaged goods, or where the incorrect product has been received.

      Any delivery costs incurred by the customer to return any unwanted products are the responsibility of the customer.

      EXCHANGES
      If it is deemed an exchange is required (e.g. due to damage, product fault beyond repair, consumer requested product upgrade), the original good(s) must be received back to Ambrogio before the replacement good(s) can be dispatched. If the replacement is required sooner, a new order can be placed and if pre-agreed a refund can be given once the exchanging goods are received by Ambrogio.

      PACKAGING
      Please retain all packaging materials until you are happy that the product is correct, undamaged, and fully working. For products delivered on pallets, please retain the pallet until you are certain the product is correct, undamaged and fully working. For any collections of products that were originally sent on a pallet, the product will need to be re-palletised by the customer before a collection can take place.

    • The warranty period of each Ambrogio model is detailed in the specifications. The standard warranty is 2 years. Where a machine is advertised with a longer warranty, this is subject to annual service by an authorised dealer. Warranty repairs can be conducted by an authorised warranty repair agent, or by Ambrogio UK (Mower Magic Ltd). If a machine needs to be uplifted for warranty inspection and/or repair, it is required to be packaged in the original packaging to prevent any damage in transit. Any damage received due to incorrect or insufficient packaging will not be covered by the manufacturers warranty and the sender will be liable for the costs. If a fault is found not be covered under warranty or is the result of abuse or neglect, it is chargeable and payment must be made prior to the return of the machine. If the courier is unable to collect the machine due to not be available or accessible, the cost of the failed collection may be passed on.
